With sites located in historic Thunderbird Park, a sprawling 115 hectare mountain retreat, and at the base of the mountain in Woodstock, a 300 acre cattle farm bordered by the Albert River, guests can choose between trails that wind through cool green rainforest and climb upwards through tall majestic gum trees, or undulating open paddocks with picturesque views of the mountain range beyond! Both sites are within short riding distance to national parks and state forests which have designated horse riding trails!

Like her mother and grandmother before her, Karen Webber, the owner of Tamborine Mountain Trail Rides, has held a passion for horse riding and the Australian landscape throughout her life. Karen takes great personal pride in the presentation, health and well-being of her horses. Being able to share the joy they bring and showing off our beautiful countryside by providing a safe, enjoyable and educational experience is what Karen is all about.
